Alissa Hodge BA, BBus, CPA
Alissa joined Preece Martin in 2007 as a trainee accountant whilst undertaking a Bachelor of Business. She graduated in 2010 having been listed on the Dean’s Honour Roll for two years. Alissa moved to the position of Client Manager in 2012 but shortly after left to work in industry. We were very happy to welcome her back to our team in 2015 to help manage our clients with particular focus on superannuation funds, a great area of strength for her.
Alissa has an exceptional talent for assisting clients who are struggling with their financial information to move to efficient, time saving programs that suit their business needs. She strives to provide timely, relevant information to clients to assist them with their business decisions.
Alissa has also completed her Bachelor of Arts and CPA.
When Alissa is not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking her dog, going to the gym and reading.
Anne-Marie Martin BACC, CPA
Anne-Marie joined Preece Martin in 2003 while studying her Bachelor of Accounting from the University of South Australia through Open Learning Australia. Commencing CPA studies in January 2008 she reached CPA status in February 2010.
Anne-Marie has served on the board of The Caring Network for many years and is a member of Freelife Church. Since 2011 she has been the Convenor of the CPA Northern Tasmania public practice discussion group. Anne-Marie Joined the CPA Tasmanian divisional council in 2013, serving as Deputy President in 2014 and President in 2015.
Anne-Marie aims to work with clients to improve and manage the running of their business. Anne-Marie has extensive experience in taxation, superannuation, human resources and general business advice with a particular interest in the medical profession.
In between all of her commitments Anne-Marie somehow finds time to enjoy bushwalking with her husband and two young children discovering more of the beautiful Tasmanian landscape and spending time with friends.
Kylie Kennett BCom, CPA
Kylie joined Preece Martin in September 2003 as a trainee accountant. Now she is one of our client managers. Kylie has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a CPA.
Kylie is exceptional at meeting deadlines and handling client needs efficiently and effectively. She spends a lot of time face to face with clients and is able to help them with their many complex taxation questions.
Kylie is currently on maternity leave having had her second child, and will return to work in August 2016. In her spare time she loves to spend time with her family, walking and cooking (in particular cakes!).
Leigh Geale BCom,CA
Leigh joined Preece Martin in December 2003 as a trainee accountant and is now a client manager. Leigh completed his Bachelor of Commerce in 2003 majoring in Accounting and Business Management. He went on to graduate as a Chartered Accountant and was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2010.
Leigh specialises in assisting clients in all areas of taxation, general business advice and superannuation. Leigh’s rural background provides him with a connection to our rural clients, but with his experience and knowledge he is able to assist a diverse range of clients in all areas of taxation, accounting and advisory services. Leigh attends our George Town office every Thursday.
Leigh likes to keep active, recently he completed the 2016 Gold Coast marathon. Leigh is currently a board member of the Northern Childcare Network. Leigh enjoys spending time with his young family and watching the Essendon Football club.
Melissa Standish BBus, CPA
Melissa joined Preece Martin in November 2008. She has previously had experience working in Sydney so has a unique understanding of large enterprises. Melissa has a Bachelor of Business and is also a CPA.
Melissa focuses on providing a high level of customer service and can assist you with all of your accounting and taxation matters.
Melissa has recently gone on maternity after having her third child and enjoys spending time with her family.
